Hello STEAM Machines, Creativity is age-less, empowering, uplifting. It is however very difficult to judge which apps, tools, methods are appropriate for each year group, and this is where we come in. We specialise in putting the Arts in the driving seat of STEM skills development and, in this course, we focus on the little ones attending Key Stage 1, aged approximately 4-6 year olds. This Course is for: Teachers Specialising in Early Years Education. Parents with children aged 4-6. Young learners, but only under parental supervision. If you are a teacher, a parent, or simply interested in education, this course will provide you with lots of ideas, lesson plans, slides for teaching and even printable homework sets, for 8 fabulous STEAM days. Each lesson is designed to be delivered, in class, within one hour. However, thanks to the many cross-disciplinary links, we suggest you stretch it and integrate it for a whole day of content, mixing on and off screen activities. In this course you will learn how to transform the free Chrome Music Lab apps into effective lessons. We have also created some bespoke Scratch patches, to introduce the gamification of number writing, as well as phonics and writing exercises, including capital and lower case letters. We also included some third-party apps, Typatone and Patatap, which enable you to transform your writing into fabulous pieces of music. Don’t forget to download the learning outcomes for the whole course, as well as all the attachments on each lesson, they are really useful.
