Abouth Aerie North

Aerie North took her fibre arts, illustration, and art teaching career from the studio to online as a result of wanting to be home with her children.  Both of Aerie’s children have special needs.  Her daughter was born with complex heart defects and on track for a transplant in the near future, and her son has high-functioning autism. Moving a studio presence online allowed Aerie to explore new creative modalities beneficial to online education platforms. Aerie divides her time between creating in Toronto and being inspired at her off-the-grid cottage in Algonquin Park, Ontario, Canada.
