Students will review how to improve the structure of an Access database, using the Table Analyzer Wizard, Normalize tables, and creating Junction Tables, and how to maintain an Access database by creating backups, compacting and repairing, and using the Performance Analyzer Tool. Students will create and modify Switchboards for easier user navigation, configure security and multi-user environments by splitting a database and password protecting a database. In addition, students will automate processes with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), and learn to use Table Events.
